PRESENTATION IN SOCIETY OF «ULTRAMAR X»
On a splendid day and ideal for the circumstance, the presentation of the B/R “ULTRAMAR” took place in the pleasant presence of maritime authorities, port authorities, port pilots, clients, suppliers, shipping agents, friends, and family. An interesting number of journalistic media also attended the event, achieving wide local and provincial impact.
Among those present was the president of the Regional Port Consortium, Martín Merlini, who highlighted that this incorporation allows “to generate work and job opportunities”. This new tug allows us to have better service provision in terms of entry and exit of operations to give greater security in maneuvers and greater peace of mind to port operators. The official also highlighted that this means an “impressive value addition” and indicates that companies “are beginning to understand the direction in which the port of Mar del Plata is going productive development, investment promotion, security legal advice to companies so that they see Mar del Plata as a hub for regional development”.
In turn, it was Sergio Di Napoli (president of Remolcadores Mar del Plata S.A.) who addressed himself with a few brief words “… thanking everyone present for their presence on this pleasant day and especially, to whoever was the founder of the company, my father, whom many here knew. What he does is only maintain or try to improve what he has started… “.
Di Napoli also highlighted “…the effort carried out by the company and the crew for the incorporation of the” Ultramar with three tugboats suitable for any type of maneuvers and in any context…
Next, the tugboat made a short demonstration of its services and then gave rise to an exquisite tasting of delicacies (sushi and pork), hired from the now traditional and legendary service of Tío Curzio.
